Blue Genie Art is essentially a theming company.  This term, although not commonly used in the United States, refers to a company with a wide variety of art skills that can be used to create unique environments.  These art skills encompass everything needed for any successful art project, on any scale.

Did we mention we love big art?  That is where our talents really shine.  Large art attracts more attention, and most of our customers are trying to get noticed, so huge sculptures, murals, and site enhancements do the best job.

Theming implies that every project must be on a grand scale, and although we love big stuff, that's not all we do.  We also cater to those looking for smaller art projects.  Besides unique awards, commissioned paintings, and graphic design, we also offer large format archival inkjet printing for $10 a square foot on a variety of paper, canvas and other media.  Furthermore, small moldmaking and casting jobs can be accomplished affordably for restoration or creative projects.

We offer our customers expertise in preplanning their project with creative consultation, idea sketching, design and scenic rendering.
Scale models of topography, architecture and sculpture allow our clients to visualize their project prior to production.  We also preplan all the technical elements of our art installations with our in house "fun-gineer".  Armature, attachments and rigging can all be approved prior to production.  We can coordinate with any onsite riggers, scaffold teams and engineers to assure that installations go very smoothly.  Whether we are making a mural, an architectural element or an entire environment, we carefully plan each step of the process to assure that we exceed our clients expectations.

We also have a lot of tools.  All kinds of equipment is needed to make big art.  Our 3D laser scanner and 3 axis CNC milling machine is our most versatile tool.  We can create geometry in 3D computer space, then recreate it perfectly in foam.  We can scan a sculptural model made of any material, scale it infinitely in computer space and carve it out in precisely joining sections.  We can get 3D topography of any section of the Earth and create custom 3D maps.  And of course we can cut out letters and other flat shapes in wood or acrylic.  If our client says "we want a giant toothbrush."  We say "which toothbrush specifically and how big?"  No size is too large.  Lots of companies have CNC equipment, but the 3D scanning laser is what sets our system apart.  The laser picks up an incredible amount of detail, so even the smallest model can be used to create large scale sculpture.
The scanner can also be used to create 3 dimensional digital archives of valuable items.

With our experience, equipment and skills, we are ready to tackle your next art assignment, be it large or small.  So call Blue Genie Art today — toll-free at 866-611-6655  (Or locally at 512-444-6655). Our friendly staff is ready with a free consultation.
