World Birding Center Display by Blue Genie Art

This twelve foot tall Blue Heron was created for the Edinburg World Birding Center in Edinburg, Texas.
We also sculpted four kingfishers in the same scale with a 3' wing span.
The Blue Heron was sculpted in styrofoam over a metal armature with a polyurea hard coat.
The Kingfisher was originally sculpted in clay.
A mold was then made from which we could cast all four in plastic.
